I got a ticket for being ugly and male
Went to the municipal court to request to have a speeding violation reduced. Spoke to the prosecutor, which agreed to reduce it to $300 from $400 (no mention of additional cost) and then they tack on an additional $125 in "court fees".. so I ended up paying more than the original fee - which I could have easily paid over the phone. Cost 3 hours of my life and an additional $25 simply to speak to someone. I've been to many courts and never experienced anything like this. Absolutely ridiculous.
